What topics does it cover?

There are five modules of learning which cover all of the topics below.

The programme is run by: Trudi Webber (Training Lead), Dr Rebecca Moore (Consultant Perinatal Psychiatrist and MBB Co-founder), Dr Jan Smith (Chartered Psychologist), Kate Greenstock (Midwife & Coach), Sakina Ballard (Advanced Lived Experience Practioner and MBB Director), Nikki Wilson (CEO) and Dr Michelle Tolfrey (Senior Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Director of Talking Heads).

The sessions include the voices of women, birthing people and families who have experienced birth trauma, as well as professionals who have experienced vicarious trauma. Each session also includes time for reflection so you can design the actions you want to take to make birth better.

Join our immersive live training experience in March 2025.

Live course (£249 - payment plans available): The next round of live training will be held on Thursday 20th March (9am-1.15pm) and Monday 24th March 2025 (9-11.45am).

There will be five modules of online learning with the MBB team of experts, held across 2 intensive-style half days - Thursday 20th March (9am-1.15pm) and Monday 24th March 2025 (9-11.45am). This live training is also CPD certified.

FAQ’s

How do I access the training? On purchasing the training, you will receive an email with details of how to access our training hub. From here you will be able to access the training, worksheets, slides and all of the bonuses.

Can the places be purchased via invoice from the organisation I work for? Yes, we can arrange this for you. Please just email us here with your requirements.

Will continuing education credit be available? We will be offering a certificate of attendance for the course but we are not yet CPD registered (this is something we’re looking into).

How long will I have access to the recordings? You’ll have access to the online course recordings for 6 months from the date of purchase.

Can I ask the facilitators questions? Yes! If you have any questions or queries about the training, please send them over to hello@makebirthbetter.org and we will get them answered as quickly as possible.
