Recruiting: Chief Executive Officer
We are recruiting for a new Chief Executive Officer to lead the next phase of our work, shaping the strategic direction of Make Birth Better (MBB) and ensuring we continue to make meaningful changes in reducing the impact of perinatal trauma on parents and professionals. Contract: This job requires a minimum of 3 days a week but we would ideally like to find someone interested in 4 days a week. We are open to job-share applications and flexible suggestions in the way people work.
Salary: Full-time equivalent of £55,000 - £60,000 depending on experience.
Location: Remote (UK-based) with some national travel required.
Pension contribution: 5% employers auto-enrolment pension contribution, with a 3% minimum employee match.
They will work closely with the Board of Directors, core team, partners, and funders to ensure MBB’s sustainability and impact. This role also involves becoming a member of the Board of Directors for MBB, jointly sharing responsibility for governing our Community Interest Company (CIC).

Interviews and dates
Our first round of interviews will be held online on Wednesday 9th April. We anticipate that we will also run a second round of interviews for a small number of candidates. We would like to appoint someone into this role by the end of April and have them start the role in July.
